Consultation for Therapists

One area that I have been drawn to is providing consultation to colleagues regarding my specialties. I have been called upon to do this work many times throughout my career and find it fulfilling to assist colleagues and supervisees with guidance in a safe environment.

My consultation services provide a confidential place to bring clinical challenges or questions you have regarding your clients. My services also include larger questions that may relate to ethics and providing best practices in your work. As in my counseling work, I customize these services so that we address your needs.  

Common challenges often include transference and countertransference, theoretical development, practical problem solving, as well as other clinical challenges. Together we can get into the grey, murky places that we as therapists often find ourselves in and will get you to a better place. This form of support is extremely important in our continued development as practitioners and people.
